Unmatched Durability and Resistance
Each board is thermally modified with heat and steam, driving out moisture and resins and refining the wood’s cellular structure. The result is exceptional dimensional stability, minimising swelling, shrinkage and distortion, alongside improved natural resistance to decay and weathering. With a lower equilibrium moisture content, ThermoWood stays flatter and smoother for longer, reducing maintenance over its service life.
Aesthetic Appeal
Unique Timber Cladding Finish:
No two boards are identical; each showcases a distinct grain pattern, adding a unique character to your façade.
Wide Range of Sizes and Custom Options:
Available in various widths from 40mm to 150mm and lengths up to 3.6m, with bespoke sizes upon request to meet specific design needs.

Durable Fire-Treated Timber Cladding Tested by UKAS Accredited Labs
We can provide the option of Fire treating your material in our treatment tank so that there is complete absorption into the cell structure of the timber to give you complete confidence that should the worst happen, the material will not become an ignition source for any potential spread of fire. This is a more thorough and comprehensive process compared to just surface painting on treatment.
On successful application and drying time which depending on the material may take up to 5 days to fully cure into the cell structure. The solution is clear in colour so will not change the colour of the timber should you not require additional surface finishes.
In collaboration with 'fire solution' manufacturer QTD will supply you with a countersigned certificate to confirm that treatment has been applied in accordance with strict application guidelines to:
BS EN 13501-1 2007 + A1 2009: Reaction to fire classification: B-s2 d0 (Min thickness 12mm).
BS476 Part 6 and 7 Class 1 & Class 0
UL 723 / ASTM E84-A11 Steiner Tunnel Test.
All of our independent tests are performed By UKAS accredited laboratories in the UK.

Our Timber Cladding combines refined, natural aesthetics with proven long-term performance. Heat-treated using only heat and steam, it offers reduced movement, lower moisture uptake, and enhanced resistance to weathering and decay, reflecting our commitment to innovation and quality. Choose ThermoWood cladding for a sustainable, low-maintenance façade that stands up to the British climate and the test of time.
Here’s why Timber Cladding is an absolute must-have for an architectural project:
Timber Cladding is a must-have for modern architecture because it delivers the look, longevity and practicality today’s projects demand. Thermally modified using only heat and steam, it offers outstanding dimensional stability (less swelling, shrinkage and distortion), improved resistance to decay and weathering, and low ongoing maintenance. Its warm, even tone suits clean contemporary façades and can be preserved with UV oil or allowed to weather to a refined silver. With a chemical-free process and responsibly sourced timber, ThermoWood combines style, durability and sustainability in one smart specification.
😍
#1 Distinctive Aesthetic Appeal
ThermoWood delivers warm, caramel-brown tones and a fine, even grain, creating a clean, contemporary look that suits both modern and heritage schemes. Preserve the colour with a UV-stable oil or let it weather to a refined silver; either way, you get a consistent, elegant façade. Available in bespoke profiles, widths and lengths to achieve precise detailing.
💪
#2 Enhanced Durability
Thermal modification uses heat and steam to alter the timber’s cell structure, driving out moisture, resins and sugars. The result is lower moisture uptake, greater dimensional stability, and improved natural resistance to decay, helping ThermoWood cladding last longer and perform reliably in the British climate.
🧯
#3 Improved Fire Resistance
ThermoWood Cladding behaves like natural timber; where a rated reaction-to-fire is required, it can be supplied with factory-applied fire-retardant treatment to achieve a specified Euroclass (e.g. B-s2,d0), subject to profile and coating system. Always verify project compliance with Approved Document B and the full cladding build-up.
